Say the Truth

One Thing

If I have to say one thing
I guess I have to say the truth,
but then again the truth is something
you can’t say. But poetry
is something said that cannot be

so said. So let me say this truth
that can’t be said in poetry
and so be said. The truth is this:
yes, nothing in the world is true.
The grass is green; the sky is blue.
